Do I need a motorcycle license/endorsement?

No! All you need is a valid U.S. or State or International driver's license. In North Carolina the Slingshot is classified as an Auto-Cycle, so no special license is needed. 

Do I need a Helmet?

No. North Carolina State Law does not require a helmet. (Helmets provided upon request, at no charge) We do recommend wearing proper eyewear, sunglass, and a helmet on the highway 

Do I need to fill up the gas tank before returning?

Yes. Alternatively, you may opt for the pre-paid gas option at booking ($40). If you do, you simply drop the slingshot off with gas tank as is.

What if it rains?

Renter is responsible for monitoring the weather. The Slingshot is topless and you will get wet if it rains. However, the Slingshot is 100% waterproof. We provide rainchecks in the event of inclement weather right BEFORE the scheduled time. NO REFUND WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE. See cancelation policy.
